Work

Work: whenever a force makes something move (the greater the force the more distance move the greater the work).

Work is measured in joules (j).

1j of work is done when 1n move an object 1m.

Work is calculated by the formula.

Work done = force x distance moved in the direction of the force.

Work = change in energy

1kj = 1000j(10^3j)

1mj = 1000000j(10^6j)
